Advance Auto Parts Inc. is hiring a capable Assistant General Manager to drive sales and service excellence in a busy retail setting in Patchogue, NY. You will oversee DIY services, guide a team, and ensure top-notch customer support while meeting profit targets.

The role requires scheduling expertise, safety knowledge, and strong communication with customers and team members. ASE certification is preferred, with earnings tied to sales performance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong financial acumen and profitability management.
• Ability to review and analyze business reports including P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze P&L statements to drive profitability.
• Provide GAS3 selling experience for DIY and DIFM customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services: battery installs, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and handle complaints promptly.
• Lead as manager on duty: coaching, floor/phone mgmt, scheduling, safety.
