Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Tallahassee to lead hotel operations under the GM, manage budgets, and drive guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, plan schedules, and ensure brand standards and safety compliance are met.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
• Oversees hotel operations under the direction of the General Manager
• Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics
• Ensures compliance with brand standards
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
• Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff
• Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
• Meeting and greeting customers
• Dealing with customer complaints and comments
• Addressing problems and troubleshooting
• Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly
• Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings

• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Assistant General Manager
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.
