Job summary

Prime Car Wash in San Jose, CA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations at this wash location. You will support the General Manager, coach staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and hands-on leadership with opportunities for advancement as the company expands across locations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of prior leadership and management experience.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent hospitality and guest service skills.
• Willing and able to work a variety of hours, including weekends.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the car wash facility.
• Opening and closing of wash location.
• Coaching and working with employees to improve wash quality.
• Engage with clients and build meaningful relationships.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform all Prime Car Wash positions (sales, labor, detail) in addition to management as needed.
• Car wash equipment operations and ordering wash chemicals, supplies, and products.
• Operation of a complex POS system as well as other wash computer programs.

As an Assistant General Manager, you will be assisting the General Manager to lead all operations for this wash location. The AGM position is vital to operations, sales, and employee issues at the wash. This position is a stepping stone to become a General Manager of a Prime location as we continue to expand.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the car wash facility
• Opening and Closing of wash location
• Coaching and working with employees to better wash quality
• Engage with clients and build meaningful relationships
• Knowledge of and an ability to perform all positions at Prime Car Wash (sales, labor, detail) in addition to management as needed
• Car wash equipment operations and ordering wash chemicals, supplies, and products
• Operation of a complex POS system as well as other wash computer programs
