Job summary

Prime Car Wash is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead operations at our wash location. You will supervise daily activities, drive sales, and manage employee relations, providing strong leadership and coaching to empower the team to deliver outstanding service.

Open 8am–7pm every day, this role requires coaching staff, opening and closing the location, engaging with clients, and overseeing all positions (sales, labor, detail) while maintaining top quality and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of leadership/management experience.
• Willingness to learn car wash tunnel equipment maintenance.
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility overseeing 30-40 staff.
• Opening and closing of location.
• Coaching and guiding employees to improve quality.
• Engage with clients and build meaningful relationships.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform all positions (sales, labor, detail) as needed.
• Oversee wash equipment operations and ordering of wash chemicals, supplies and products.
• Operate the complex POS system and other wash software.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager who embodies strong leadership qualities to assist in guiding all operations at our wash location. This role is pivotal in overseeing operations, driving sales, and managing employee relations. As an Assistant General Manager, you will collaborate closely with your team to ensure Prime Car Wash consistently delivers customer satisfaction by maintaining top-notch service and quality. You will take ownership of all aspects of the wash, providing leadership and coaching to empower your team towards success.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of a service facility overseeing up to 30-40 staff at one time
• Opening and closing of location
• Coaching and working with employees to improve quality
• Engage with clients and build meaningful relationships
• Knowledge of and an ability to perform all positions at Prime Car Wash (sales, labor, detail) in addition to management as needed
• Car wash equipment operations and ordering wash chemicals, supplies and products
• Operation of a complex POS system as well as other wash computer programs

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary range $40,000 - $50,000 annually based on experience and qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

• 2-3 years of prior leadership and management experience
• Eagerness to learn about how the car wash tunnel equipment operates is maintained and repaired
