NC State Dining is seeking a hands‑on Assistant General manager to manage day‑to‑day operations in Fountain Dining Hall. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Assistant General Manager over daily operations of a dining hall located on the NC State University campus. The main focus or priority for this position will be to provide independent decision making in the day to day management for the dining hall and reports to the unit General Manager.
Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Home Economics, Hospitality Management or related discipline and one year of food management experience; or Associate’s degree in a related discipline and three years of food management experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Some positions may require registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
