Job summary

Oberweis is hiring an Assistant Manager for our ice cream shop to lead the scoop squad, ensure great guest experiences, and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

You'll supervise shifts, manage inventory, uphold cleanliness, and contribute to a fun, fast-paced work environment with weekend and evening hours.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving Assistant Manager to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success! You’ll be the right-hand hero to the Store Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing shifts, schedules, and daily operations
• Keeping the shop sparkling clean and organized
• Handling inventory and making sure we never run out of fan favorites
• Jumping into scoop, serve, and celebrate with customers

Physical Requirements

• Carry up to 50lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 9-10 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperature as low as 32 degrees F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
