Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager for the Marriott Nashville Airport. The role focuses on leading hotel operations under the General Manager, driving guest satisfaction and revenue performance.

You will manage budgets, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with brand standards and safety regulations while delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as an Assistant General Manager or equivalent role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgets and financial plans; control expenditures.
• Supervise hotel operations under the General Manager's direction.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain brand standards.
• Maintain financial records and drive sales targets.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure
• Oversees hotel operations under the direction of the General Manager
• Ensures overall guest satisfaction to drive brand metrics
• Ensures compliance with brand standards
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Setting and achieving sales and profit targets
• Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff
• Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
• Meeting and greeting customers
• Dealing with customer complaints and comments
• Addressing problems and troubleshooting
• Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly
• Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings
• Dealing with contractors and suppliers
• Ensuring security is effective
• Carrying out inspections of property and services
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Assistant General Manager
• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
