Job summary

Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants in Nashville is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead Aba Nashville with a focus on guest experience and team development. The role requires 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service setting and a proven ability to manage day-to-day operations.

You will oversee training, scheduling, inventory, cost controls, and supervision of BOH and front-of-house teams, driving sales and maintaining a culture of care across the restaurant network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years of AGM experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Skilled in leading and developing teams.
• Experienced with inventory and BOH systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day business operations run smoothly
• Assist with training, recruiting, HR and administrative duties; assist and financials / statement preparation; and assist the GM with customer service inquiries
• Organize, run and supervise smooth and efficient daily opening and closing shifts, ensuring an exceptional guest and employee experience
• Provide guidance and leadership to hourly and management teams while fostering our Culture of Caring
• Respond immediately and effectively to guest and employee needs and feedback
• Assist GM in managing costs and driving sales in support of financial goals
• Partner with GM and management team to interview, hire, onboard and train, supervise and develop all BOH employees and teams as needed
• Perform regular and ad hoc inventories of food, beverage and restaurant supplies and track high cost items; place food, beverage and restaurant supply orders; and accept and inspect deliveries
• Model and promote teamwork across all teams
• Use tact and good judgment when dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors and employees, and respond with patience and courtesy
• Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights and weekends) at multiple sites with or without overnight travel, as needed
• Move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
