Job summary

Taco Bell in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive daily restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant General Manager. You will lead by example, train and coach team members, and uphold brand standards to deliver memorable guest experiences.

The role emphasizes P&L involvement, cash controls, inventory management, and health & safety compliance, with a focus on equity and inclusion while promoting team recognition and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations in GM's absence and drive performance.

• Assist with Profit & Loss management, cash control and inventory.
• Monitor food safety standards and core operational excellence.
• Provide ongoing feedback and performance appraisals to staff.

Assistant General ManagerAbout the Job:As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our restaurant's success, supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. You'll lead by example, training, coaching, and recognizing your team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences. When your team shines, so do you!In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions and driving the team toward excellence. You'll work a 50-hour week.The Day-to-Day:Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.Oversee Team Members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence. Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence.Collaborate with the GM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback.
