Job summary

Tailwind Concessions in Jackson, Wyoming, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional guest service. You will work closely with the General Manager to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment within the establishment.

Qualifications

• Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Some weekend days are required as well as mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the GM to lead a rock star team.
• Ensure staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in scheduling staff in their work assignments.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor and enforce food quality and service standards.
• Verify temperatures, appearance, taste, and prep quality.
• Ensure safe, responsible and legal serving of all alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain equipment per restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain stock levels by inventory, ordering, and stocking supplies.

Responsibilities to Include but are not limited to:

• Responsible to monitor as well as take action to make sure food quality service standards are met.
• Responsible for verifying temperatures, judging appearance as well as taste of products, checking preparation methods to define quality.
• Ensure safe, responsible and legal serving of all alcoholic beverages.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering as well as retrieving supplies plus stocking by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles reaching overhead.

• Must be able to pass background check.
• Management background in Food and Beverage.
• Strong kitchen and grill experience.
