Kenton County Golf Courses, located in Independence, KY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Assistant General Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Commensurate with experience
The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager. The Assistant General Manager will help direct and administer all aspects of the operation and will coordinate and administer the property's policies and procedures as defined by the property's ownership or Troon.
PGA Membership or PGA registered apprentice in good standing
Must have supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience
Must have experience in total golf facility management and a demonstrated ability to run a professional, efficient, high-quality, service-oriented operation
Must be proficient in Excel, Access, Word, and POS systems
Working knowledge of club accounting
Must have a strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business
Experience assisting with building player development programs
Experience acting as a club liaison to the community
Must have exceptional customer service skills
Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, and a self-starter
Must be extremely organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly
Must have the skill to exercise good independent judgment in assessing situations and making decisions
