Job summary

LUV Car Wash is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support site operations, build a winning team, and advance into a leadership role driving our mission forward. This position reports to the General Manager and is non-exempt.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence and safety compliance at our Escondido location. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for teamwork, and at least 1 year of car wash experience, with proficiency in MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passionate about creating genuine connections with team members and providing excellent customer service.
• Moderate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, is required.
• 1 year of car wash experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct cars into the wash tunnels.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections before entry into the tunnel.
• Clean the facility and keep areas organized.
• Monitor inventory and assist with orders.
• Ensure safety protocols and SOPs are followed.
• Address customer escalations calmly and promptly.
• Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams.
• Handle cash management processes including daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.

General Summary of Duties

Physical Demands

• Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing.
• Physical ability to move equipment and tools as needed.
• Must be able to lift min 30 pounds.
• Work in extreme weather.
• Work in a wet environment and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.

Essential Functions

• Direct cars into the wash tunnels.
• Carry out visual inspections of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the tunnel.
• Perform cleaning of facility and ensure everything is organized and kept in the appropriate place.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
• Assist with Recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company's mission.
• Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
