Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Dupont Station, SC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to assist the General Manager in daily club operations and to ensure the highest quality of service for members and prospects. This is a full-time, salaried exempt role focused on driving revenue and delivering exceptional facility experiences.

You will lead a team across front desk, housekeeping, and fitness staff while coordinating with training and group fitness departments to uphold Crunch standards and member

Responsibilities

• Achieve target revenue goals through leadership and motivation of employees.
• Daily past due account collections and calls.
• Monitor flagged check-ins to increase revenue and collections.
• Conduct tours and telephone inquiries for prospective members.
• Train and supervise front desk, housekeeping, and Kid's Crunch staff.
• Coordinate with Personal Training and Group Fitness teams.
• Promote a professional and inviting environment for members.
• Ensure adherence to uniform policy and standard operating procedures.

Assistant General Manager

Job Description & Performance Expectations

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the club to ensure members and prospects receive the highest quality of service and facilities. This is a full-time, salaried exempt position.

HOURS

• Monday – Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Saturday or Sunday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Hours can be changed and are dependent on the club's pacing to sales goals and community outreach events.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

Sales, Revenue & Collections

• Achieve target revenue goals through leadership and motivation of employees
• Daily past due account collections and calls
• Monitor flagged check-ins to increase revenue and collections
• Conduct tours and telephone inquiries for prospective members

Leadership & Team Development

• Train and supervise the front desk, housekeeping, and Kid's Crunch staff
• Coordinate and work with other departments, including Personal Training and Group Fitness
• Promote a professional and inviting environment that enhances the quality of service and care offered to members

Operations, Administration & Compliance

• Compliance with our uniform policy - crunch polo, black pants or shorts & crunch nametag
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies
• Assist with multiple aspects of inventory management, payroll, weekly bank deposits, shift coverage, and general club maintenance
• Ensure the club meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security
• Other duties as assigned
