Job summary

Moe’s Arboretum in Cary, NC seeks an Assistant General Manager to operate the restaurant in the absence of the Training/General Manager. You will ensure top quality, service and cleanliness while driving sales growth.

You will interview and hire staff, schedule and supervise operations, coach crew, manage inventory and cash procedures, uphold safety and sanitation, and reinforce Moe’s Vision and Values through daily leadership.

Qualifications

• Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years old and available 7 days per week, Moe’s training program completion, 30-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a hearty “Welcome to Moe’s.”
• Interview and hire staff to standards and in compliance with regulations
• Schedule staff to meet guest flow and labor cost standards
• Train and develop management and crew under supervision
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with management and team
• Provide coaching and progressive discipline as warranted
• Conduct crew meetings prior to shifts to discuss procedures and safety
• Control inventory to meet GAP/Variance and COGS standards
• Maintain reports and records per company standards and regulations
• Maintain building and equipment with proper PM procedures
• Adhere to cash procedures
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and security policies
• Exhibit Moe’s Vision and Values and perform other tasks as directed by management

Assist in achieving sales growth through implementing and maintaining the highest standards in quality, service and cleanliness.**Eligibility:**Must be at least 18 years old (or meet State regulated age to sell alcohol if applicable), be available 7 days per week and/or as needed to satisfy successful operation of the restaurant, be certified through the Moe’s training program and complete the 30-day probationary period.**Job Functions:**➢ Enthusiastically greet all guests with a hearty “Welcome to Moe’s” when they enter the restaurant.➢ Interview and hire staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and in compliance with State and Federal regulations.➢ Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow while in compliance of company labor cost standards.➢ Train and develop management and crew under the supervision of the T/GM. ➢ Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with management and team. ➢ Provide coaching, counselling and progressive discipline as warranted. ➢ Conduct crew meetings prior to shifts to discuss operational procedures, promotions, security, training, safety, etc.➢ Control inventory by maintaining an adequate supply of products and items to meet company GAP/Variance and COGS standards.➢ Maintain reports and records as specified by company standards and in compliance of State and Federal regulations.➢ Maintain building and equipment using proper operating, cleaning and preventative maintenance procedures. ➢ Responsible for adhering and enforcing all cash procedures.➢ Ensure personal appearance always meets company standards and display professionalism.➢ Recognize and adhere to all sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for all.➢ Consistently exhibit the actions/behaviors which best demonstrate Moe’s Vision and Values; perform other tasks as directed by management
