Job summary

Copperstate Farms and Sol Flower are hiring an Assistant General Manager to support daily dispensary operations. You will oversee sales, cash handling, inventory control, and signage, while partnering with the General Manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience and meet revenue goals.

You will work with Retail Managers, lead staff, ensure AZDHS compliance, and manage schedules, training, and policies. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and cannabis industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years or older
• Must pass a background check (no felony convictions)
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management abilities
• Knowledge of the Cannabis Industry
• Leadership experience with ability to make informed decisions and problem solve
• Results oriented and self-starter
• Strong interest and desire to work with people and Cannabis
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Technologically advanced with working knowledge of cannabis POS systems
• Computer proficient; ability to easily learn new software

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Inventory Control Manager to ensure all Cannabis is accounted for and dispensary has adequate stock for daily operations
• Ensure compliance with AZDHS regulations and statutes
• Provide primary support for the General Manager
• Assist in human resources responsibilities, scheduling, direction, and oversight of all dispensary operations, policy implementation, inventory reconciliation, and money handling processes
• Lead and support staff in performance management, rewards and recognition programs
• Demonstrate passion for the Cannabis industry and the wellbeing of customers and staff
• Collaborate with Retail Managers and General Manager to ensure optimal product selection and top-notch customer service

Job Description:

The Assistant General Manageris responsible forsupporting all day-to-day operations of the dispensary. This includes but is not limitedtosales, money counts and cash handling, inventory control, storage of Cannabis, overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary and signage in the dispensary. The AGMis responsible forworking with the General Manager to provide an outstanding customer experience while working closely with dispensary personnel to meet revenue goals, lead, coach, train and developthe retailand ensurecompliance with inventory, operations, and systemprotocols.

Core Responsibilities:

Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:

Physical Requirements:

• Must work in noisy and crowded environmentsthroughout the day.
