Micron Technology is seeking an experienced, business-facing attorney for its Legal Department. This on-site role supports multiple business units and sales teams across domestic and international engagements. Location options include Boise, Idaho or San Jose, California.

Responsibilities include negotiating commercial agreements, assisting with new product initiatives, and delivering trainings on legal issues to business partners while collaborating with engineering, quality and security teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements across geographies.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and current bar in good standing.
• Ability to review and define quality requirements, agreements, and claims.
• Executive presence when interacting with senior leadership.
• Collaborate effectively with internal colleagues and business units.

• Provide pragmatic legal advice to support business teams in achieving goals and strengthening customer relationships.
• Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of commercial agreements supporting Micron’s products.
• Assist product and market development initiatives and growth opportunities.
• Coordinate with supply chain, engineering, quality, and security on operational and risk matters.
• Provide proactive legal assistance on emerging issues related to Micron’s product sales.
• Develop trainings for Business Units, Sales, and internal partners on key legal issues.

Micron isseekingan experienced, business-facing attorney to join its world class Legal Department. The attorney will be a trusted business partner to Micron’s multi-billion-dollar Business Units and Sales teams and willbe responsible fora wide range of complex domestic and international customer engagements and commercial transactions.

Micron’s attorney will interact closely with Micron’s executive team to develop strategies that achieve product development, marketing, and sales goals while managing risk. Responsibilities include the following:

• Provide pragmaticlegal advice and solutions to support business teams in meeting strategic and commercial goals and enhancing customer relationships
• Review, negotiate, and draft a variety of commercial agreements, includingproductpurchase and sale agreements,volume supply agreements, waivers, DISCLAIMERS, quality requirements, warranty agreements, settlement agreements,confidentiality agreements,marketingmaterials,and other documents supporting the marketing,salesand qualification of Micron’s products
• Assistbusiness teams with planning and development of new product initiatives and growing opportunities in existing and future market segments
• Perform a vital cross-functional role with other legal teams and organizations, including supply chain, engineering, quality, and security, in connection with a variety of operational, commercial, compliance, and risk-related matters
• Provide proactive legalassistanceto addressemerging issues relating to the sale of Micron’s products
• Develop and deliver effective trainings to Business Units, Sales, and internalpartners onkeylegal issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Education & Admission: JD from an ABA accredited law school and a current member of the bar in good standing
• Geographic Requirement: Located within reasonable distance from Micron's San Jose or Boise office, or willing to relocate.
• 8+years of experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, along with an excellent working and practical knowledge of commercial law across geographies
• Experience defining and reviewing quality requirements,agreements,and claims
• Anexecutive presence in interactions with senior leadership
• The ability to collaborate, build relationships, gain credibility, and partner effectively with internalcollaboratorsand legal colleagues
• Eye for business, a strategic perspective, and a high degree of ethics and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated dedication to adopting andoptimizinglegal AI tools, with a willingness to contribute to AI-enabled solutions and workflows that improveLegalDepartment efficiency and service delivery
• Experience working in an in-house legal environmentpreferred
• Top law firm and corporate experience in the semiconductor or adjacent industrypreferred

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$151,000.00 - $351,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
