MITRE is seeking a qualified attorney to join the Office of General Counsel in a role focusing on employment law, workplace investigations, and compliance across federal, state, and local regulations. You will advise Human Resources, assist with litigation, and help shape policies to mitigate risk while supporting MITRE’s mission.
The position requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited school, Virginia bar admission or eligibility, and at least two years of practicing attorney experience;

MITRE’s Office of General Counsel advances the company’s mission and purpose by providing the legal expertise and services needed to protect the company's interests. The Office delivers strategic direction for current and new endeavors and executes functions essential to the company's ongoing operations. Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Employment, Litigation, and Compliance Lead, this position provides advice and support across a broad range of corporate matters, with particular emphasis on employment law, workplace investigations, benefits and employment related disputes.
