Overview

Associate General Counsel- Employment

FullBloom is seeking a knowledgeable and mission-driven Associate General Counsel- Employmentto join our Legal team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing internal investigations, managing employment-related disputes, and supporting compliance through the creation and implementation of employment policies. The ideal candidate is a collaborative legal professional who can navigate complex employment matters and deliver effective training and counsel to leaders across the organization. Your work will help ensure our policies and practices reflect the values of fairness, integrity, and inclusion that define FullBloom’s people-first culture.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage internal investigations related to employee conduct, compliance, and workplace issues.
  • Oversee and support resolution of employment-related disputes, including working with external counsel as needed.
  • Draft, implement, and maintain employment-related policies and procedures, such as employee handbooks and compliance documents, aligned with applicable federal and state laws.
  • Provide training and development to managers and supervisors on key employment topics, including compliance, employee relations, and workplace best practices.
  • Advise HR and leadership teams on handling employee concerns, with a focus on proactive conflict resolution and grievance prevention.
  • Stay informed of legal developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends to guide organizational strategy and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing Labor and Employment Law.
  • Member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Strong legal judgment and problem-solving ability, with a practical and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex legal issues into clear guidance.
  • Experience working in a mission-driven or multi-state organization is preferred.
