  • Provide legal advice on new and evolving business initiatives.
  • Rapidly assess potential legal risks, benefits and consequences of decisions, present alternatives and propose solutions to achieve business objectives while skillfully managing legal and practical business considerations.
  • Provide daily contract support and lead coordination and partnership with cross functional teams (sales, client management, IT, strategy, marketing, HR, finance, etc.) to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Negotiate with other parties and leverage strong organizational and task efficiency skills to help the team meet contract targets and deadlines.
  • Provide advice across the BD&O business segments on legal and regulatory issues related to corporate and commercial matters.

  • Strong legal contracting background.
  • Excellent judgment and integrity with the ability to think strategically and give timely, effective, and practical general corporate and commercial legal advice.
  • Client service focus and the ability to work efficiently, prioritize workflow, meet demanding deadlines and manage many projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, including in work-from-home environments.
  • Ability to work and communicate with colleagues and business clients in a professional, ethical, and positive manner as a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail, along with excellent analytic, legal drafting and oral and written communication skills.
