Your role:

As a Night Relief Manager, you will oversee hotel operations during your shift, ensuring guest service standards are met and that hotel assets are secured.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage hotel operations during your shift, conduct departmental walk-throughs, and ensure public areas reflect the hotel’s standards.
  • Oversee security functions at night.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Coordinate emergency evacuations and notifications.
  • Oversee front desk and night audit functions, ensuring timely and professional service.
  • Educate staff on safety procedures and report hazards or emergencies.
  • Ensure security of financial transactions and guest safety.
  • Conduct inspections of public areas and correct deficiencies.
  • Document incidents involving guests or staff.
  • Promote teamwork and coordinate with other shifts and management.
  • Interact with guests, regulatory agencies, and other external contacts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Some college education and three years of guest service/hotel experience, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of guest service and night operations; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand, handle objects, and bend as needed.
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong reading, writing, and basic math skills.
  • Problem-solving, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays; willingness to travel for training.
