Assistant Football Coach – Part-time - Lyon College invites applications for an assistant football coach of its football program beginning March 1, 2025. The primary responsibilities are:

1. Coaching linebackers or defensive backs
2. Assisting in practice and game preparation
3. Breaking down film and providing scouting reports
4. Recruiting academically and athletically gifted students
5. Maintaining working knowledge of NCAA D3 and Lyon College policies and procedures
6. Providing instruction to student-athletes through practice or film review
7. Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Preferred qualifications include:

1. 2 years coaching experience
2. An understanding (experience preferred) of recruiting student athletes at a small, liberal arts college
3. A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred
