Assistant Football Coach – Offensive Assistant (Full-time)

Post University is seeking an Assistant Football Coach – Offensive Assistant (full-time) to join our growing team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Football Coach – Offensive Assistant is responsible for developing all aspects of the Post University Football Program. This is a full-time role with off-season coaching, recruiting, and retention responsibilities starting upon hire. The position requires night and weekend work, regular travel for recruiting and team activities, and expertise in offensive coaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Head Coach in recruiting and retaining skilled athletes.
  • Contribute to practice and offensive game planning, focusing on offensive fundamentals, strategies, and overall offensive functionality.
  • Counsel student-athletes in personal development, academics, and athletics.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions Office to recruit and enroll student-athletes.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of coaching experience at the NCAA level; playing experience at a high NCAA level is required.
  • Ability to work effectively with the coaching staff to motivate student-athletes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
