Job summary

Lawton Public Schools is seeking a part-time ASST Football coach for MacArthur Middle School. The role focuses on coaching the varsity program and coordinating with the JV team, parents, and the community to foster athletic growth.

Responsibilities include equipment control, rule compliance, and timely completion of eligibility and transportation reports, along with maintaining inventory and supervising medical exams for athletes. Position is part-time and temporary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Oklahoma Teaching Certification is not required for this role.
• Care and Prevention Course completed or willing to obtain as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coach the varsity team and coordinate the junior varsity team with the school, athletes, parents, and community.
• Check equipment in and out, maintain inventory, clean and store equipment.
• Attend rule meetings and stay knowledgeable about sport regulations.
• Prepare and file local/state reports including eligibility, transportation, and official/semester/end-of-year reports.
• Complete requisitions for supplies and services and supervise athlete medical examinations.
• Other duties as assigned by the athletic department.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
