Job summary

Lexington Senior High School in Lexington, North Carolina is seeking an Assistant Football Coach to support the Head Coach in developing student-athletes on and off the field. You will assist with skill instruction, organize practices, and help prepare for games while upholding discipline and sportsmanship.

The ideal candidate has prior playing or coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level, a strong knowledge of football fundamentals, and the ability to motivate and mentor

Qualifications

• Previous playing or coaching experience at the High School or Collegiate level.
• Strong knowledge of Football fundamentals, rules and strategies.
• Ability to motivate and mentor high school students.
• Teaching license eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach in skill instruction and program development.
• Organize and oversee practices, drills and conditioning.
• Support game preparation and scouting as needed.
• Promote discipline, sportsmanship and role modeling for students.

Job Description

The High School Assistant Football Coach supports the Head Coach in all aspects of the football program, contributing to the development of the student-athletes on and off the field. The position plays a critical role in skill instruction, practice organizaton, game preparation, and fostering a culture of discipline, sportsmanship and accoutabilty. The Assistant Coach is expected to serve as a positive role model and uphold the values and standards of Lexington Senior High School.

Qualifications

• Previous playing or coaching experience at the High School or Collegiate level.
• Strong Knowledge of Football Fundamentals, rules and strategies
• Ability to motivate and mentor high school students
• Preffered to have a teaching license or eligibilty of employment with the school district.
