• Encourage healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.
• Maintain awareness of children with allergies and food restrictions.
• Ensure the food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products, or items processed in facilities that handle nuts.
• Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Lead Food Service Teacher.
• Assist with ordering food and calculating quantities needed.
