Position: Food Service Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist in the direct supervision of the Food Service personnel assigned to the facility.
- Assist in the direct supervision of the facility Food Service program, including the kitchen and serving line area.
- Assist in preparing orders for all food and supplies needed for the assigned facility.
- Assist in placing orders with the Food Service office or directly with vendors following time constraints provided by the Director of Food Service.
- Communicate with other Food Service Managers and the Food Service Office to maintain accurate production and meal count records for reimbursement claims.
- Assist with student account management, including collection of monies, calling parents regarding charges, sorting ID cards, entering prepayments, and delivering charge slips.
- Assist with coordination of meal preparation and service, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with coordination of the kitchen and serving line areas.
- Assist with inventory and stocking of all food and supplies.
- Assist with monitoring facility Food Service needs and report them to the Director of Food Service.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Director of Food Service.
- Achieve and maintain ServSafe certification.
- Requires long periods of standing and walking.
- Reliable transportation required.
- May require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Reporting and Compensation
- Reports to: Food Service Manager
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Compensation: Based on Classified Pay Model
- Work Calendar: 196 Days
- Standard Hours: 8 Hours/Day, 40 Hours/Week
- COPR Status: Classified
- Performance: CPCSC is a Non-PERF District
Qualifications
- Will achieve and maintain ServSafe certification.
- Requires long periods of standing and walking.
- Reliable transportation required.
- May require lifting of up to 50 lbs.
