Position Title:
Assistant Food Service Operations Manager
Reports to:
Food Service Operations Manager and General Manager (as applicable)
Responsibilities:
- Perform SSA EXTRA Guest Service steps to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
- Support implementation of operational systems, processes, and policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist in season planning for food concepts, equipment needs, and operational excellence.
- Support financial forecasting, information flow, and business processes.
- Oversee staff training, orientation, and safety protocols.
- Address guest needs promptly and resolve complaints effectively.
- Maintain quality standards and cleanliness of facilities.
- Document and discipline employees to improve performance in accordance with company policies.
- Create a safe, organized work environment.
- Assist with day-to-day food service operations, focusing on front-of-house functions.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment.
- Maintain positive relationships with client staff.
- Ensure consistency and quality across operations, including menu planning based on market trends and nutritional considerations.
- Manage vendor invoices and payments.
- Support operational management of the food department, including payroll and profit control.
- Manage staff schedules within budget constraints.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

- Flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous Experience:
- At least two years of operations management experience, depending on sales volume.
- ServSafe or Food Handling Certification.
- Open to all educational backgrounds; must be 18 or older.
