The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager assists the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing assigned outlets to ensure exceptional guest service, optimal performance, and profitability. They train, motivate staff, and support the resort's guiding principles, striving to deliver outstanding service to internal and external guests.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
  2. Lead and supervise the outlets team
  3. Assist in preparing forecasts, reports, and developing budgets
  4. Ensure cleanliness and atmosphere of the department
  5. Develop and execute promotions and events
  6. Enforce hygiene and sanitation standards
  7. Track payroll and revenue daily
  8. Secure financial transactions
  9. Establish par levels for supplies and equipment
  10. Supervise staff performance, conduct appraisals
  11. Maintain systems and equipment performance
  12. Manage expenses and improve revenues
  13. Train and inspire outlets staff for promotion
  14. Design and implement training programs
  15. Empower team to exceed service standards
  16. Handle stressful situations calmly and organized
  17. Work with HR on recruitment and staffing
  18. Monitor payroll accuracy and complete paperwork
  19. Order supplies and maintain stock levels
  20. Maintain a safe, clean, and positive work environment
  21. Promote high staff morale and discipline when necessary
  22. Conduct staff meetings and attend meetings
  23. Resolve guest issues effectively
  24. Stay informed on hospitality trends
  25. Use labor management tools for scheduling and cost control
  26. Provide warm guest greetings and interactions
  27. Collaborate professionally with resort staff
  28. Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate effectively
  29. Handle equipment sanitation and maintenance
Additional Duties
  1. Provide resort information to guests
  2. Stay updated on resort amenities and events
  3. Upsell resort services and amenities
  4. Follow dress code and maintain professional appearance
  5. Be courteous, helpful, and alert to guests and colleagues
  6. Perform other duties as assigned

  5. At least 2 years supervisory experience
  6. Valid Food Handler and RBS Certification required
Compensation

Starting at $68,640 to $72,000 annually plus bonus potential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible plans, paid time off, and 401(k) with company match.
