Summary

Piper restaurant, located at The Seabird Resort in sunny Oceanside, CA, offers guests fresh, handmade pastas and garden-to-table delicacies in a bright, California-coastal setting just off the beach. The restaurant is open in the morning for breakfast and freshly pressed juice. By night, Piper transforms into a warmly intimate space with an open kitchen, full bar, and wraparound outdoor patio.

Position Overview

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage areas within the hotel. Responsibilities include scheduling, forecasting, training, ensuring compliance with laws and operating procedures, and coordinating special events. The candidate should have strong communication and analytical skills, with food and beverage cost control experience being advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $68,640.00 - $79,400.00, based on experience and education. Hyatt offers a competitive benefits package, including:

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2+ years in Food & Beverage Management
  • Wine and beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred

  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
  • Commitment to food safety protocols
  • Legal age to serve and pour alcohol in CA
