Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Blue Duck Tavern team as our Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Park Hyatt Washington. Goal of the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager:

Assist in managing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service across hotel outlets, including the Blue Duck Tavern Restaurant, Lounge, and In-Room Dining.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting the Blue Duck Tavern Managers and working closely with the Food & Beverage Director and other departments.
  2. Planning for short and long-term success of all outlets.
  3. Hiring, training, developing, and promoting staff.
  4. Leading and coaching teams to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.
  5. Enhancing revenue and controlling costs through innovative strategies.
  6. Developing budgets, marketing plans, and managing within approved budgets.
  7. Maintaining a professional, energetic, and positive appearance.
  8. Managing special events and holiday functions.
  9. Taking initiative to operate outlets independently.

This role is integral to the hotel's Food and Beverage team, collaborating with colleagues such as the Banquet Manager, Executive Steward, Beverage Manager, and Room Service Manager. Experience in these areas can lead to advancement to the Assistant Food & Beverage Director position.

Salary Range:

$57,000 - $72,000
