Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience in a hotel or restaurant, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Responsibilities

What will you do in this job?
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily operations for the hotel restaurant and special events, including banquets.
  • Supervise staff and ensure customer expectations are exceeded at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food hygiene standards in food and beverage areas.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and management of staff.
  • Manage inventory, oversee proper unpacking of orders, and ensure neat storage and accurate monthly counts.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Oversee food storage and dining areas to ensure safety and health compliance.
  • Assist with cocktail creation and menu development.
  • Lead and execute weddings, conferences, and signature events with attention to detail.
  • Complete daily billing and financial responsibilities accurately.
  • Communicate daily on guest feedback, employee performance, and shift notes.
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and split shifts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
