Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall is seeking an experienced F&B manager to support the Director of Food and Beverage in quality, cost control, and inventories. You will oversee service flow across gaming floors and outlets, lead hourly staff, and ensure compliance with recipes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, and evaluating team members, maintaining procedures, and delivering excellent guest service while managing labor and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous F&B management experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Background checks required.
  • Ability to work varied shifts and obtain required work cards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Food and Beverage in F&B quality, cost control and inventories.
  • Respond to inquiries on financial performance when the Director is absent.
  • Monitor and ensure operating procedures are consistently met.
  • Communicate effectively with front and back of house management and staff.
  • Oversee service flow on the gaming floor, bars, outlets and events.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to F&B hourly staff.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform duties of all bars, wells and restaurants.
  • Work with managers to monitor and control labor in the department.
  • Maintain adequate coverage in F&B outlets based on demand.
  • Assist with hiring, training, evaluation and counseling of team members.
  • Ensure recipes, measurements and quantities are followed for consistency.
  • Prep items prepared to approved standards.
  • Adhere to opening/closing checklists and secure products.
  • Inspect areas for safe, sanitary handling practices.
  • Restock products in designated areas.
  • Maintain knowledge of F&B products and proper rotation.
  • Research and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Ensure correct equipment use and SDS compliance.
  • Be flexible with shifts to meet business needs.
  • Report concerns to the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • Provide BIG Service to guests and ensure satisfaction, greeting guests warmly.
  • Foster professional relationships with managers, staff and guests.
  • Complete work accurately, efficiently, and on time.
  • Work safely and follow company safety policies.
  • Maintain regular attendance and appearance standards.
  • Assist with training/mentoring of new team members.
  • Inform manager on duty of irregularities.
  • Stay calm in high-stress situations and maintain integrity.

  • Immediately reports any concerns or opportunities to the Director of Food & Beverage.
  • To provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
  • The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.
  • The ability and willingness to ensure that work activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous F&B management experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
  • Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
  • Must be able to obtain required work cards, and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
