Job summary

Troon's Fiddler's Creek Golf Club in Naples, FL seeks an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to guide daily dining operations, supervise service teams, and enhance member experiences across dining venues and events.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef to align front-of-house and back-of-house efforts, manage scheduling and inventory, and coach staff to deliver hospitality excellence while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of progressive food and beverage or hospitality experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of front-of-house operations and inventory controls.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, evenings, and special events.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with a strong hospitality-focused vocabulary and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in service execution and member interaction during peak periods.
• Ensure timely opening, shift transition, and closing procedures.
• Monitor service flow and staffing levels.
• Assist with beverage inventory management, receiving, invoice verification, and cost control initiatives.
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise dining, patio, and guest-facing operations.
• Train and coach service staff on hospitality standards.
• Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH operations.
• Lead by example through active floor presence.
• Support onboarding, training, and staff development.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are maintained.
• Assist with scheduling, labor tracking, reporting, and operational documentation.

Job description

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the daily operation of the Food & Beverage program at Fiddler's Creek Golf Club, a premier private golf club in Naples, Florida. This role combines operational leadership, hospitality excellence, team supervision, member engagement, and hands-on execution across club dining venues and events.
