Job summary

MP Biomedicals is seeking a Junior / Assistant Financial Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and compliance. You will partner with operational leaders to ensure accurate records and timely reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes strengthening internal controls, optimizing processes, and supporting the finance organization through ERP enhancements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA designation or active progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• 2+ years in a senior accounting/leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance and accurate financial statements.
• Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable, fixed assets, and general accounting.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and tax compliance.
