An extremely fast growing Credit Fund is looking for a talented and driven Fund Accounting Vice President to join our Financial Controller team. This team is focused on firm-level transactions, fund controllership, and operational excellence. Reporting directly to the Fund Controller and CAO, this individual will support day-to-day fund accounting operations for various funds. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with deep fund accounting experience to take on a visible, high-impact role at a dynamic firm.

Description:

• Own key elements of the month-end close process, including NAV package preparation, performance calculations, and fund-level waterfall maintenance
• Lead and support investor reporting, corporate filings, and regulatory deliverables
• Review financial statements, assist in year-end audits, and facilitate tax preparation
• Analyze and allocate expenses and budgets across multiple fund entities
• Monitor and reconcile daily cash activity and verify portfolio pricing using models and third-party data
• Prepare and review internal fund reporting (daily, weekly, and bi-weekly) with a focus on liquidity and investment metrics
• Tackle ad hoc analyses and requests in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Location: New York, NY (4 days/week in office)

Compensation: Up to $200K Base | Up to $250K Total Comp

Requirements:

• 6–10 years of fund accounting experience, ideally in Big 4 (with funds exposure) or a combo of public and private (PE, HF, FoF, CF)
• Strong accounting and operational knowledge of investment funds
• CPA or CPA progress preferred (but not required)
• Exceptional attention to detail and a collaborative, proactive work ethic
• Ability to work on-site in NYC 4x per week
