Job summary

Paul Davis is hiring an Assistant Field Technician to serve communities after disasters by mitigating damage and restoring properties. You will work under the Mitigation Manager with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include water mitigation, tarping, mold remediation, and assisting with contents and reconstruction tasks. A strong work ethic, flexibility for nights/weekends, and a clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English required for communication with customers and team members.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly as part of field duties.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and certifications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Mitigate water and weather-related damage, tarping, boarding up, mold remediation and related tasks according to standards.
  • AssistContents division with packing and moving belongings.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain safety and quality on every job.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked truck and proper operation of equipment.
  • Be reachable by phone and participate in on-call schedule as needed.
  • Assist in warehousing and facility tasks and deliver materials for reconstruction.
  • Support teammates and step up as needed to lead parts of the job.

Team Qualifications (Requirements):

Role on the Team (Job Responsibilities):
  • High-level performance of water mitigation, tarping, boarding up, mold remediation, asbestos/lead abatement, and carpet cleaning/reinstallation services according to Paul Davis and industry specifications under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager.
  • Assisting the Contents division with packing and moving personal property.
  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and maintain all company equipment.
  • Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the on-call schedule.
  • Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
  • Deliver building materials for the Reconstruction Division.
  • You will assist other team members as you see opportunities arise and be a leader for the team when needed.
