Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is a family-owned commercial landscape construction and management company with operations across multiple states. The Assistant Field Manager will coordinate and execute landscape projects on site under the Field Manager’s guidance.

The role includes overseeing safety, PPE compliance, equipment maintenance, and maintaining quality and productivity on job sites. Travel may be required and a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in landscape construction, hardscape, masonry, carpentry, irrigation, or equipment operations.
• Willingness to travel.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Background in construction.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and execute jobs while assisting the onsite Field Manager.
• Maintain heavy equipment including preventative maintenance and tools as needed.
• Oversight of safety and proper PPE on site.
• Assist in supervising job site quality and productivity.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Coordinate daily work schedule with the Field Manager.
• Assist in training and managing personnel assigned to the crew.
