Overview

As a member of Conde Nast’s Global Fashion Network, the Assistant Fashion Editor supports the team in creating and executing fashion content across brands and platforms including print, digital, video, social. They play a critical support and logistics role for individual projects, for maintenance of the closets, and for the fashion network team overall

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Fashion Editors and other team members on the incoming and outgoing flow of samples into the closets
  • Support logistical execution of shoots - packing, shipping, organizing DTS shipments, etc.
  • Work with stylists and brands on obtaining credit information
  • Assist in creating fashion boards
  • Other administrative support duties such as scheduling, travel arrangements, paperwork processing, etc.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years fashion market experience preferred
  • Strong interest in relevant cultural influencers, celebrities, and designers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a clear and effective communicator who can interact with high-profile clients as needed
  • Ability to stay organized, multitask, prioritize, and fluidly switch gears in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner, especially with GFN team members in other markets

This is a guild position.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $63,000-$70,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
