About The Role
As a CBRE Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for advanced facilities work in regulated spaces. This role supports the operations of assets and collaborates with Property Managers on repairs and investment plans.
What You’ll Do
- Manage painting and patchwork projects.
- Drive between facilities, requiring a valid driver’s license.
- Escort vendors and clients across the campus, involving significant walking.
- Perform major repairs on architectural items, cabinets, doors, and windows.
- Install shelving, tank holders, paper towel racks, coat hooks, and other items.
- Serve as the point of contact for front-line client requests.
- Coordinate maintenance tasks with trades personnel.
- Apply standard principles and techniques to complete tasks and solve routine problems.
- Possess broad knowledge of job disciplines and some cross-disciplinary knowledge.
- Lead by example, modeling CBRE RISE values and reaching agreements when needed.
- Impact the quality of work within the team.
- Work within standardized procedures to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Explain complex information clearly to others.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience and education.
- Understanding of procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze solutions using technical judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
- Ability to lift 10# regularly and 50# occasionally.
- Valid driver’s license for site travel.
