Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division seeks an Assistant Facilities Director in Greencastle, PA. The role oversees planning, organizing, and controlling plant operations and building renovations, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of engineering maintenance management experience, preferably in manufacturing and construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years engineering maintenance experience at Manager level.
• Experience in manufacturing and construction management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures
• Monitors flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility’s standards and regulations using computerized programs for preventive and corrective maintenance, construction projects, financial management, and energy controls
• Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including the utilities energy savings program
• Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff
• Successfully provides effective client rapport
• Monitors work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel

Education
