Job Summary

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! This is a full time, year around position with an excellent compensation package. This includes medical, paid sick time, paid vacation time, paid personal time, holiday pay and 401k options. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication.
  • Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
  • Observes and reports team member incidents and recommends discipline when necessary.
  • Supervises day to day operations.
  • Orders necessary stock for outlets.
  • Performs line level duties and acts a “breaker” in all outlets throughout shifts as necessary.
  • Adheres to and administers established company Policies, Labor Laws, Liquor Laws and Sanitary Codes.
  • Relays all guest compliments and complaints to appropriate department head.
  • Assists F & B shift managers with day to day tasks and projects.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

  • Food and beverage line level experience preferred, supervisory experience a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
  • Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
