Job summary

Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, FL is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee dining and beverage operations within an upscale private club. The role demands hands-on leadership, exceptional organization, and a passion for delivering premium member experiences.

You will supervise dining room and banquet staff, conduct staff training, manage beverage inventory, and build strong relationships with distributors and brand representatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Experience in private club, country club, or fine dining environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicates daily with F&B managers to align policies, staff, and setup.
• Supervises dining room and banquet staff, stepping in as needed to ensure service quality.
• Ensures side work and equipment/storage area cleaning are completed per schedule.
• Directs pre-meal briefings and relays information to staff.
• Performs table checks in dining areas; engages Members about food and service.
• Reads BEOs and responds to Member inquiries (room locations, start times, etc.).
• Receives and resolves complaints concerning food, beverages, and service; informs upper management.
