Job summary

Fairmont El San Juan Hotel seeks an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to direct and organize restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of F&B quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.

You will lead and supervise a diverse team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, while leveraging English communication, a four-year degree in hotel management, and Micros expertise to drive results in a vibrant Puerto Rico property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management required.
• At least five years’ experience in a related field preferred.
• Hotel/restaurant management experience preferred.
• Strong guest relations, problem solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and organize restaurant operations to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing.
• Maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
• Lead and supervise staff to ensure smooth service across shifts.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & SKILLS

• Strong understanding / experience of Hotel Operations in a multi-cultural environment.
• High level of drive for results; adaptable and flexible with the ability to build relationships.
• Strong planning and organizing skills with great attention to details.
• Excellent guest relations, problem solving and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Working knowledge of Micros
• Four-year college degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management required

Experience

• At least five years’ experience in related field preferred. Hotel restaurant management experience preferred.
• Experience with supervision of employees required.Hospitality experience preferred
