Job description

Cowboys Golf Club is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Food and Beverage Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the Food and Beverage Director to oversee and enhance all aspects of our club's dining services, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annual salary

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to manage day-to-day operations of dining facilities, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures for the food and beverage department.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house staff, providing guidance and training as needed to elevate steps of service.
  • Collaborate with the HR department for recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to contribute to menu development and ensure high-quality and innovative offerings.
  • Monitor food presentation, portion control, and overall dining experience.
  • Foster a customer-focused culture, ensuring that members and guests receive exceptional service.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, banquets, and private functions.
  • Coordinate with the Member Relations Coordinator and other departments to ensure successful club-hosted event execution.
  • Implement cost control measures without compromising service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food and beverage licensing requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate best practices into club operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a large scale operation within a club, hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong organizational leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
