• Support training, coaching, and onboarding of housekeeping curators.
• Assist with daily staffing assignments, shift coverage, and break coordination.
• Monitor room status and communicate effectively with the Front Office to support operations.
• Ensure timely execution and delivery of guest amenities, special requests, and service recovery items.
• Address guest concerns related to housekeeping service during assigned shifts, escalating issues as needed.
• Assist with inventory tracking of linens, supplies, amenities, and equipment.
• Support compliance with safety, sanitation, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain accurate housekeeping logs, checklists, and reports.
• Lead by example, performing hands-on duties as needed to support the team.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned by the manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations while embracing Coury Hospitality’s commitment to intentional design, elevated guest experiences, and people-first leadership. This role blends operational oversight with hands-on leadership, setting the tone for a culture of pride, accountability, and genuine care. This non-exempt role assists with training, inspections, scheduling support, and service oversight; hotel standards are consistently met.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES :

• Assist in supervising daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and readiness standards.
• Support training, coaching, and onboarding of housekeeping curators .
• Assist with daily staffing assignments, shift coverage, and break coordination.
• Monitor room status and communicate effectively with the Front Office to support operations.
• Ensure timely execution and delivery of guest amenities, special requests, and service recovery items .
• Address guest concerns related to housekeeping service during assigned shifts, escalating issues as needed .
