Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Assistant Event Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of various events, from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings. You will collaborate closely with the lead event coordinator to ensure that every detail is meticulously managed and executed to perfection.

Salary Range: $21.00 - $31.00 hourly
Location: Cincinnati, OH


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
  • Help develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Conduct venue research and assist in the selection process for events.
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff to coordinate event details and arrangements.
  • Create event timelines and checklists, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Support the marketing efforts for events, including social media promotion and email campaigns.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude during stressful situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
