Sales BizlabWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless execution of a variety of events, from corporate conferences to social gatherings. You will work closely with our lead event coordinators to assist in planning, organizing, and implementing all aspects of our events.

Monday to Friday

Weekends free

Pay Range:

$25.50 - $34.00 hourly

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including weddings, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to finalize contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Help create and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure all aspects are covered thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email, and print.
  • Attend events to provide on-site support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure everything runs smoothly for attendees.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from event participants to identify areas for improvement in future events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in event coordination or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for interpersonal relations.
  • Familiarity with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
