Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in mechanical maintenance with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and building systems.
• Experience using CMMS and reading blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering Manager in planning and directing the mechanical maintenance program.
• Supervise HVAC technicians and maintenance staff; assign work orders and track progress.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine maintenance needs and scope.
• Oversee emergency repairs and ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors; ensure quality and integration with operations.
• Monitor system performance and drive efficiency improvements to reduce downtime.
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; conduct audits.
• Document activities in CMMS and generate management reports.
• Support budget tracking and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent mechanical issues.
