This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland.
Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Assistant Engineer, Associate Engineer, Associate Engineer II, Project Engineer, or Project Engineer II to join the Technical and Environmental Services Group at our Headquarters in Millersville, MD. The ideal candidate will have knowledge/experience in stormwater design, permitting, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling. The candidate will work closely with Senior Engineers to develop effective stormwater management strategies that meet regulatory requirements and enhance environmental quality. Professional Engineer Certification is preferred.
Experience with GIS software, geodatabases, surveying, and CAD programs is desirable.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Geotechnical, Electrical, or a related engineering field from an accredited institution. Additional experience varies by role:
A Master's degree or Professional Engineer license may substitute for some experience.
