Job: Part-time, grant-funded, Union
Supervisor: Director of Youth & Family Programs
Hours: 20 to 28 hours per week. Wednesday through Friday availability required. (schedule varies based on programming needs, occasional weekend and evening work required, Mondays and Tuesdays required on select summer weeks for Studio classes)
Union Min Rate: $20.42 per hour
General Purpose:
Focusing on early childhood education, the incumbent will develop, coordinate, and implement Play Date with Art and Story Time in the Galleries. Develop and maintain ArtPack Station and ArtPack activities that engage a multi-generational youth and family audience in experiences that foster museum literacy and connect with the Museum's collection.

Requirements
Education/Experience Requirements: Strong background in studio art, art education, and/or early childhood education. Experience in education for children ages 0-5 required. Need to be highly creative, personable, and organized with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of art history beneficial. Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Art History, or related field with strong art making experience required. Demonstrated customer service skills also required.
License or Certification Requirements: Driver's license required.

Ability to work with a wide variety of people to achieve the goals of the Museum.
